Eggy Breakfast Bread Ingredients Flour (any grain) 3/4 cup Soda 1 teaspoon Citric acid crystals 1/2 teaspoon or 2 teaspoons Cream of Tarter) Dill Weed, chopped (fresh or dried) 1 teaspoon Eggs 6 large, 7 medium, or 8 small Optional ingredients Sesame seed 1 tablespoon Sunflower seeds, shelled, raw or roasted 2 tablespoons Onion, diced 1/2 cup Knuckle Donny's seasoning mix 1 tablespoon Breakfast sausage, smoked sausage, leftover beef, pork chicken, turkey or wild game, chopped diced or shredded. 1/2 cup (or more) Substitutions/modifications: Use a tablespoon of baking powder in place of the soda and citric acid crystals (or cream of tartar). Add a half teaspoon of ground chipotle pepper for a little extra zing. Use an egg substitute in place of the eggs. Thoroughly mix all dry ingredients. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients and pour into oiled, preheated cast iron skillet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, until a fingertip pressed lightly on top will not make a dent.
