Be concise. You needn't attempt to give a detailed description of the site, just hit the high points. We have 30 kilobytes of text to work with in each issue of the ezine and that's not a lot of room.
Why 30K? Two reasons; mainly to give us a "stopping place" so we'll know when we're finished but also because some email services place a limit on the size of incoming email, bouncing anything that's over the size limit, and the most common size limit is 30K.
Provide a brief description followed by a link.
Just to give you a working example, here's how I'd list our website:

more from Don Crowder and Lisa Miller.

If a link has special significance for you and you feel you "just have" to write a two or three sentence description, go for it but we reserve the right to do some judicious editing if you go overboard with it.
If you want to do your own "mini-feature", collecting several links which all apply to a given subject, you can use some extra editorial space, describing your topic and setting it up. Then, the links can be listed with brief descriptions or just stacked up under the description.
Our ezine consists of seven sections, each containing about 18 links (no more than 20) and if you'd like to write an entire section I'll give you full credit for the work. Write it up, send it to us via our
contact form, we'll review it, do any editing we feel is required and return it to you, for approval or additional editing, before publishing it.
Use a plain text editor, like NotePad, to do your writing and keep your line lengths down to 59 characters or less (or just write it any way you like and I'll take care of the line lengths). Review our
criteria for content if you're uncertain as to the type of links we list in our ezine and if you want to send us links but don't want to write your own descriptions, that's ok too. We'll write them for you and still give you credit for the links.
