Looks like I'm outnumbered doesn't it?
Yeah, well, I knew that when I married her.

The older I get the more I realize that love is the only real wealth worth having, or giving and the true definition of family has nothing to do with genetics.   The people you love, and who love you, are family.   Do yourself a favor and tell your family you love them every chance you get.   You'll be glad you did and so will they.

Life is good, love is wonderful.   See you next time.

Our dear friends Carolyn and Len Prevatt invited us to spend the weekend with them in Del Rio,TX and attend Tommy Vick's semi-annual musicians' party.   Len, pedal-steel guitar player and his multi-talented (keyboards, guitar and the voice of an angel) wife Carolyn invited Don to play, and play he did.   Speaking of multi-talented, let me introduce someone you thought you knew.   Don Crowder, lead guitar (left-handed), bass guitar (right-handed, upside-down), drums, and keyboards (no one had set up keyboards or I'd show you).   I got to listen to some wonderful country and classic rock 'n roll, practice my two-step with some lovely gentlemen and Don played about 8 hours, we think.   On the way home we were able to visit with family and friends.

It was a long-anticipated and much-appreciated break from being full-time caregivers for Don's mom.   Don's sister cared for Don's mom from Friday to Sunday evening.   On Monday morning Mom fell and broke her hip.   The adventure continues...
